The Who

HR Tech Services is a Mid-West based software company specializing in unique and easy-to-use software dedicated to helping Human Resource Professionals attain profitability through the development of their people.

The Story

We were created by the partnership of Quantum Services, Inc www.qsiteam.com and www.digitalmarktingsolutions.com. Fred Brown the President of Quantum and Phillip Nguyen the President of Digital Marketing wanted to create a single place on the web were HR professionals could access Performance Management tools and other aids that would make the HR pro’s job easier.

Backed by an independent study performed by Grand Valley State University, Fred and Phillip continued determining HR needs by using feedback from existing clients, Pfizer, Behr, Benteler, Steelcase, Lacks, Alticor and others.

The Result

What they found out was that customers need inexpensive solutions to improving their Human Capital. The two focus areas: Improving people you hire and improving performance once people are hired.

They needed software extremely flexible and simple to use. They wanted the ability to purchase components of a system or the whole system. So HRtechservices was born.

About Co-Founder Phillip Nguyen. A few words that truly describe Phillip…ambitious, hard working and determined. On the personal side…faith, family and friendship. Besides running and leading two companies, he enjoys spending time with his family whenever he can, and doing volunteer work for his church and his community.

Phillip has his Bachelors in Business Administration specializing in Personnel Management from Western Michigan University and a Masters in Computer Science specializing in Information System Management and Software Engineering from Grand Valley State University. Phillip’s greatest strength is his ability to connect the human & technology sides together. Creating many software development successes.

Co-Founder Fred Brown is also a good guy dedicated to his family, faith and friends.

When not at work or with his family, He is trying to get Phillip to play more golf.

Fred has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in performance management and training. With degrees in Business, Computer Science and Human Resources (Made good use of his GI bill didn’t he?). Fred’s focuses on sales, marketing & product development.
